We want to make your application to the University of Mary as smooth and easy as possible. We appreciate your interest in the University of Mary. If you have any questions, please call us at 1 (800) 288-6279 or (701) 255-7500, ext. 8030.

The University of Mary will process your application as soon as it is received. You will be considered for admission on the basis of your high school transcripts, test scores, and counselor recommendation. After all materials are submitted, expect an admissions decision within two weeks.


Steps to Admission


If you are applying for the School of Accelerated and Distance Education Program, please choose the link below and follow those instructions.

Submit your application by doing one of the following:

  1. Completing the online application
  2. Printing out the appropriate application form(s):
  3. Mailing it with the $25 application fee to:

Complete a counselor recommendation form from one of the application packets listed above (high school students only). Have a letter of recommendation submitted by an instructor, advisor, or employer (transfer and non-traditional students only).
Request that a copy of your college transcript(s), high school transcript(s) or G.E.D. results be sent directly to the U-Mary Office of Admissions.
Before you begin school at the University of Mary, we need to have your ACT or SAT exam results. (These tests are not required for applicants over 21 years of age.)
Note: For students whose native language is not English, the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required.
